Ok, so have completely slacked on this blogging thing. And I don't know that I will do much better in the future. But in case anyone reads or was wondering.....
We moved to Bradenton, FL last September when Joseph got a job at Manatee Memorial Hospital. Shortly after, we found out that I'm pregnant! We're expecting a little girl to join us sometime in June or May. Insanely excited about that!
I found out today that a project I had been working on for a few years was passed. So I am now a Dedicant of ADF!!!
I also got word that I am starting a new job in a week at the South Florida Museum!! I've been volunteering there since we moved to Bradenton, working with the collection. So now I'll get even more experience with the museum!
As of today, I'm 27 weeks along in my pregnancy. Baby girl is doing well and I'm doing well. I can't believe how fast everything has gone! The plan is to have a homebirth. So that should be a cool experience! I love the midwives I've been working with and the birthing home I've chosen. What an amazing experience being pregnant!
My sister just had her first, a boy, in January. And he looks just like her and is a little cutie pie!
I did finally get my BA degrees in Anthropology and Religious Studies in August 2010. Finished up with Honors in the Major Thesis on Contemporary Pagan Purification Practices. It was a pretty nifty accomplishment!
That's all that I can think of with updates for now. I hope to try being a bit better at this. We shall see.

What a Semester!
Wow! Well, I've obviously been a slacker. I have good excuses though! With school and married life and all. I did an undergraduate thesis this semester, and it was just recently approved!! So happy days of really, really hard work paid off! Only 2 weeks of school left....and this summer semester will be my last before graduating....finally! It's only been 10 years and a few months since getting out of high school.! I have always been one to do things my way though. lol
Anyways, maybe when I get out of school I'll put more time into this. But then again, maybe not!
Cheers!

Yeah.....soo.....just a little behind
It seems like I pretty much forgot that I had this thing. Hmmm.....so much has happened over the past 7 months. I'll slowly have to get things caught up I guess!! Well the biggest things are school and Joseph. I've been completely absorbed in all things school it's not even funny! But I love my classes. It's just so much fun to constantly learn new and interesting things, and to relearn old things. And I'm engaged. Weird for me still to even think about it, considering I thought it would never happen. But we're excited! It's been a huge adjustment for me getting used to having someone else around all the time......and for him too. I think his biggest thing is getting used to my boys......
Good news on the Jasper front......if any of you remember how he was pretty sick and icky for a while......he is now 100% better!!!! Of course his fur is still lacking, but at least he doesn't have nasty stuff all over his body anymore. Which makes his mommy very happy.
Gandalf and I had a very traumatic experience on Christmas Eve this past year......in fact, we are both lucky to be here right now. Let's just say that I had a car break down and he jumped out of the car and ran across I-4 with me chasing madly after him. It was a nightmare! But our guardian angels were watching over us and we made it across and back with out being killed. I'm still in shock about it really.
After a whole bunch of money and lots of tests, we still never really found out what was wrong with me and the chest pains. The conclusion we came to was that I had arthritis in my chest between my ribs and sternum. Or something like that. Thank you Disney! All I know is I feel my years as an entertainer..........my whole body feels it quite acutely! What can you do though?
Alright, I'll come back another day(hopefully soon) and fill you in on what's been going on since last July. It's just that I'm very tired and have to get up at 5 tomorrow morning for class. So in the meantime, take care and be happy!
Brightest Blessings!

Hospital
So I've been having chest pains lately and after trying a walk-in to no avail....decided it might be a good idea to go to the ER to make sure I wasn't having a heart attack or anything like that. And after two days of tests and being poked by needles.....they still don't know what's wrong with me! Isn't it exciting! I missed a whole week of work...during month end no less....which is always pretty stressful anyways....but I figure my health/life is more important than work. It just sucks a bit financially. Hopefully though by the end of all this I'll know what's going on and will know all the ends and outs of how my body is functioning! It's crazy. All I do know, is it is really, really hard to sleep with an IV in you arm on the side you sleep on....oh and hospital beds suck!
Welcome to my world!
So I've never really been one for these types of things, but since it seems the thing to do, I figured why not! This is more for me than anything else really, I figure it could be a good way to journal the going ons in my life.
I guess I'll just tell you why I named my blog this, and it's because of my two little furry boys that I live with. Jasper, is about to turn 4 and is a Shitzu Yorkie mix, and he's is just my little lovey! There's nothing quite like seeing him when he gets excited about something....usually car rides.....because he's pretty laid back most of the time, when he's happy to do something his whole body let's you know he's happy about it! Gandalf just turned 3 and is a miniture American Eskimo. He's my beautiful boy! He is also an attention hog!! He loves getting pets from mommy, especially when she's on the phone and when she's about to go to sleep! He's a bit more hyper and talkative compared to Jasper, but he is a sweetheart! They just love to be near me, and make sure that nobody sneaks up on me or tries to hurt me! They may be small, but they can cause quite a ruckus!
Anyways, that's a bit about me....
